CEO
If you would like to discuss the long term goals of United Way or how we change lives in our community you should contact James.  James joined the United Way of Greater Lafayette September 1, 2004 after serving with United Way in Denver, CO, Tampa, FL and Hagerstown, MD. He is a native of Blacksburg, VA, a graduate of Wake Forest University and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and a former hospital chaplain.  He and his wife, Amy have twin sons, William and Wesley.
Accounting Associate
If you have questions about your account status, billing inquires, or are interested in e-pledge options, you should contact Jane. Jane processes pledges, and payments as well as oversees pledge designations and accounts payable. In her free time she keeps up with her husband and two daughters while finding time to walk, swim, and enjoy Purdue football!
  
INRN Regional Director
If you are a member of a nonprofit organization in the western region of Indiana and are in need of cost effective training or consultation you should contact Jillian Henry. The Indiana Nonprofit Resource Network is a statewide program administered by the Indiana Association of United Ways. Jillian has presented and developed curriculum on board governance, strategic planning, board committee structure, leadership and motivation, volunteerism, and Sarbanes Oxley for Nonprofits. She has also received extensive training in grant writing, fund raising, creative problem solving, and accelerated learning.  Jillian holds a bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University.  
Community Services Labor Liaison
If you are out of work or need assistance in finding what programs that may be available to help you, or someone you know call  Earl. He has extensive knowledge of community services and programs that are available throughout our community. He has a broad background in organized labor. He has been a member of the UAW since 1972. He is involved with Labor's community service programs, and serves on the Coalition for Working People's Rights. He has been married since 1977 to his wife Helen and has a son and a daughter.  
Volunteer Associate 
Looking for volunteer opportunities or need volunteers? Amy Wood is who you need to speak with. She matches people who want to donate their time with opportunities in the area. Amy joined our staff in September 2007 in our finance department processing pledges and payments. She earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech Community College. Now that her children are grown, Amy spends her time volunteering, watching Colts football and spending time with her grandchildren.
Communications Associate
Do you have a question about a United Way event or our public relations and marketing efforts? If so, you should contact Erin. Erin joined the staff in September 2010. She earned an M.A. degree in public relations from Ball State University. In her free time, Erin enjoys baking, volunteering, and playing Scrabble.  
Education Associate
If education is your passion, then you should talk to Amy O’Shea. Amy joined the United Way staff in 2010 and is working to improve academic achievement in Tippecanoe County.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, and spent several years teaching before coming to United Way.  Amy is relatively new to the Lafayette area and is looking forward to learning more about the community and United Way’s partner agencies.

Finance & Community Impact Director
Overseeing United Way financial operations and coordinating community impact initiatives keeps Laura Carson busy.  Laura joined the United Way staff in 2007 as Finance Director and has a long back ground in accounting and financial operations.  In 2008 her role was expanded to include community impact and investment.  Laura is very excited by the opportunity to be more involved with our participating organizations, our volunteers and other collaborative efforts in the Greater Lafayette Community.
Income Associate
Interested in saving to buy a house, to further your education or in qualifying for FREE tax preparation? Our IDA and VITA programs can help you reach those goals and Jen Million is the person you should speak with. Jen joined our staff in December 2010 and is working toward providing financial stability for those around the community. She graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana with a B.S in Public Financial Management. She enjoys reading and spending time with her son, family, and friends in her free time.

Community Impact Assistant
Angie recently joined our United Way staff in June 2012. She supports the mission of United Way by providing administrative support to the Community Impact Department. This includes providing necessary organizational support for a variety of tasks to CI management, staff and volunteers. In her free time she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband, Bill, and their two boys, Drew and Tyler.

Health Associate 
Mokina is our new health associate and she will be working on United Way health initiative efforts. She is from Caracas, Venezuela and she moved to Lafayette, IN from Indianapolis, IN at the end of June.  She has her BS in Public Health from Indiana University. In her free time, she volunteers. She enjoys eating out and exploring new places with her husband and spending time with her dog.
STEPHANIE PATACSIL
Campaign Director
"Educating donors about the good work of the United Way of Greater Lafayette is my passion. I'm privileged to work with donors, local businesses, community groups and campaign volunteers on a daily basis." Steph comes to the United Way of Greater Lafayette after 4 1/2 years with the United Way of Cass County. She joined us in August of 2012. She is a native of Ohio which translates into being a HUGE college football fan. She has two sons, Sam and Dominic. Her leisure time is spent enjoying outdoor activities of all sorts, yoga, reading, cooking and watching her boys' race.
Community Volunteer
Steve joined the United Way of Greater Lafayette in 2012 as a community volunteer and has focused on initiatives supported or led by the United Way, including the Read to Succeed and Ready to Learn programs, both part of the Community Commitment to Education, and Solutions Beyond Shelter. Additionally, Steve has been involved in the development of the community wellness checklist and in the review and evaluation of proposals for the All American Cities grant.
