What is FamilyWize?

FamilyWize works with United Ways and pharmacies all across the United States to distribute prescription drug discount cards to people in need. If you or someone you know could use a card you can print this version or visit the FamilyWize website to learn more about this great partnership.

FamilyWize cards also can be obtained at the United Way Office, United Way participating organizations, Payless & Marsh Pharmacies, the Fairfield Township Trustees office, or by calling Mokina Castro at United Way 765-742-9077 ext. 237. Any local organization or business is encouraged to contact Mokina to get cards to give all their employees and their families.

ABOUT THE FAMILYIZE PARTNERSHIP
The FamilyWize Community Service Partnership was established in the fall of 2005 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.  Now, more than twenty five thousand community and faith-based organizations, county and municipal agencies, doctors, pharmacies, public and private companies, and individuals across the country have joined together to reduce the cost of medicine for people in one out every three counties in the United States. The card is distributed free because local pharmacies have agreed to accept prices for medications that are close to the prices they make available to large insurance companies. FedEx Express provides the shipping and the Pharmacy Benefit Manager provides part of the processing fee included in the cost of the medicine to cover the administrative costs.
